I am an E-Commerce Technical Lead at L.L.Bean.  I work in Information Systems, tranforming Marketing and E-Commerce business requirements into designs which are then implemented on the llbean.com and llbean.co.jp websites.  The job requires a complete understanding of how E-Commerce works from end to end.  I have a deep knowledge of networks, http protocol, n-tiered systems, Websphere Commerce, SEO, SEM, DB2, HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, Java, Perl, AIX, Linux, Batch Processing, and I work well with all levels of management.  The Technical Lead responsibility is to flatten technical barriers and deliver the project on time and on budget.

I've worked off and on for L.L.Bean, starting prior to my military service in 1988 as a customer service representative on the phones.  I worked for them again as a contractor from 2000-2002, and came home permanently in 2004.

Besides my work at L.L.Bean, I worked in Alaska at the 5th largest credit union, AlaskaUSA FCU from 2002-2004, IBM Microelectronics from 1995 - 2000, and I flew fighter aircraft from 1989 - 1995.  Yes, I did deploy overseas several times and I did see some action in the 100+ combat sorties.

I have a Bachelors degree in Mathematics with Computer Science and Management minors from Renssleaer Polytechnical Institute and a Masters degree in Engineering Management from National Technological University.
